Fermentation and Maceration: Fermentation in two small stainless steel tanks and a total of 29 days skin contact.


Clos Badaceli Garnacha 2018  is a wine which perfectly blends the fresher profile of Garnacha (succulent red fruits) together with the typical minerality of the licorella (slate) soils where the vineyards are located, particularly in our plot El Figueral.

All the grapes that go into this wine originate in our La Solana de Cal Grau estate ( El Lloar / Tarragona ) and come from a combination of different parcels with an almost “capricious” orography. Therefore, it provides us with great complexity in terms of nuances, each of which gives complementary variables to the wine. Thanks to the different orientations and types of soil, we can enjoy a markedly varietal character, with a great deal of fruit and good acidity that gives freshness on the palate, endowing it with a great capacity for ageing and improvement in the bottle (+ 25 years).
