This wine is made exclusively from 100% Tempranillo (Tinto Fino) grapes from Pago de Chafandín, a vineyard of approximately 50 years of age. These are extraordinary grapes, small in diameter, with a thicker skin that provides greater concentration during maceration. Malolactic fermentation is carried out in new 300-litre French oak barrels and the wine is then aged in the same barrels for the time that is deemed appropriate depending on the vintage, usually from 20-22 months. Intense aromas of ripe black fruit, minerality, and fine wood. In the mouth it is very full-bodied, fruity, with a long finish and persistent aftertaste.
